Silk Cocoons
Indonesian Silk Cocoons
These rare golden cocoons come from Indonesia. The pupae is part
of the Indonesian diet so there is no silk worm inside. You can spin
from the cocoon. They are wonderful for embellishment or jewelry. I've
torn them and put them in my weavings. I've degummed them and made
a truly hand spun yarn by gently pulling and twisting with my fingers.
