In this workshop you will learn to work with Earthues Natural Dyes to color your yarn. We will then get an Indigo Pot going. Indigo is the only natural blue dye on earth. We will work with Indigo in-depth. You will be shown the correct way to use an Indigo Dyebath and how to over dye to achieve purples andgreens. Using Indigo in combination with natural yellow dyes such as fustic, myrobalan and pomegranate, cotton, silk and wool will turn into brilliant greens (chartreuse, kelly, teal and forest green). Over dyeing cochineal will give you beautiful purples. The basic chemistry for Indigo and natural dyeing along with color theory will be covered. Register below »
