Needle Size Information
  • Size 32T: Coarse Triangular Blade. These needles are made from gauge 32 wire and have notches beginning 3/8 inch away from the tip. They are used for coarse fiber and attaching hair to cloth dolls.
  • Size 36T: Medium Triangular Blade. These needles are made from gauge 36 wire and have notches beginning 1/8 inch away from the tip. They are used with medium to coarse fiber. They are used to attach hair to cloth dolls.
  • Size 38T: Fine Triangular Blade. These needles are also made from gauge 38 wire and have notches beginning about 3/8 inch away from the tip. They are used with fine to medium fine fiber. They are very commonly used to attach hair to cloth dolls.
  • Size 38S: Fine Star Blade. These needles are made from gauge 38 wire and have a "star" shaped blade with notches beginning about 1/8 inch away from the tip. They are good for fine, delicate work. They are used with fine fiber and cloth.
  • Size 40T: Extra-Fine Triangular Blade. These needles are made from gauge 40 wire and have notches beginning about 1/8 inch away from the tip. They are used with extremely fine fiber and cloth.
  • Size 42T: Ultra-Fine Triangular Blade. These needles are made from gauge 42 wire and have notches beginning about 1/8 inch away from the tip. They are used with extremely fine fiber and cloth.
