Chlorophyllin Extract

Chlorophyllin Extract is a concentrated natural dye obtained from alfalfa, stinging nettles,or from other edible plants. This natural green was especially developed by GREEN’ING for your applications.

Natural dyeing & textile printing: This extract can be used to dye any protein fiber previously mordanted with alum and cream of tartar or any cellulose fiber previously mordanted with aluminum acetate and gallnuts. Different shades of natural green can be obtained depending on the formula and the mordant.

Chlorophyll is the main photosynthetic pigment of plants. It is present in most plants, and certain bacteria and algae. It can capture light energy and convert it into biochemical energy essential for life.
