Cochineal Extract Powder comes from a tiny scale insect that lives exclusively on the Nopal Cactus. It is found in Mexico, Peru, Chile, and the Canary Islands. The colors range from Fuchsia to Raspberry, Rose Violet to Scarlet. Add Cream of Tartar to your dyebath for brilliant red on wool.
