Logwood Extract 

Logwood Extract - comes from the heartwood of the Bloodwood Tree (Haematoxylum campechianum) which is found in Mexico, Central America, Columbia, Venezuela, and the Guyanas. Belize grew out of 17th-century logging camps. The trees are sustainably harvested. Today Logwood dye is an important source of haematoxylin, used in histology for staining slides.
