Weld Extract

Weld or Dyer’s weed (Reseda luteola L.) is one of the oldest dye plants used to produce a yellow color. Weld - Reseda Luteola is also known as Dyers Weld, Dyers Rocket, and Dyers Mignonette.

• Weld is a dye plant of European origins, widely used from the Middle Ages 
• Cultivated in England, France, Belgium, and southeastern Germany
• Its use as a dyestuff goes back to Roman Antiquity
• Colorfast with all parts of the plant being used except the roots
